E-Recording

Traill County Recorder's office is now E-Recording some electronically transmitted documents. The cut off time to E-Record a document is 3:30 pm. CST. Anything submitted after this time will be recorded the following morning at 9 am. CST. Traill County does NOT accept all documents for E-Recording; such as, but not limited to; Any documents that require a transfer, Deeds, Death Certificates, Affidavit of Death or Survivorship, Plats, Surveys, or Corner Records. If you are not sure, please contact our office prior to submission.

Most of our records are open to the public and have been digitized to be viewed on computer in the office or on the North Dakota Recorder's Information Network (AKA NDRIN) Our records go back 26 years (1998).
