On May 4 the Traill County Commission removed the Traill County mask mandate, moving to a mask advisory. This advisory leaves mask-related decisions to the respected businesses and individuals.
Fire Emergency & Burn Ban Declaration
On March 16, 2021 the Traill County Commission declared a fire emergency and burn ban to remain in effect when the N.D. Rangeland Fire Danger Rating is Extreme and/or a Red Flag Warning has been issued for Traill County.

The cornerstone of the present building was laid on June 20, 1906. The cost of the new building was $60,000.
