On Nov. 4 the Traill County Commission passed a mandate requiring residents without a medical or age exemption to wear a face covering while in public and unable to socially distance.

Fire Emergency & Burn Ban Declaration
On March 16, 2021 the Traill County Commission declared a fire emergency and burn ban to remain in effect when the N.D. Rangeland Fire Danger Rating is Extreme and/or a Red Flag Warning has been issued for Traill County.
