During this time, the Agassiz Valley Human Service Zone team is working remotely while diligently serving the citizens of Traill and Steele Counties. This is done to promote social distancing and to ensure continuous service delivery.

Child/Abuse Neglect Concerns
To report concerns about the suspected abuse and/or neglect of a child, contact us at 701.636.5220 and request to speak with the CPS Intake Worker.
If after-hours or on the weekend and an emergency – contact the Traill/Steele County Dispatch Center at 701.636.4510 and ask to speak with the On-Call Worker.
Financial Assistance

Where to access Drop-Off Boxes and Paper Applications
- In Finley, north side of the Steele County Courthouse for both drop box and paper applications.
- In Hillsboro, north side of Wells Fargo Bank – interior area. This area is available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the standard work week. Paper applications and drop box are available at this location.
- In Hillsboro, north side of the of the Traill County Courthouse - next to the Traill County Sheriff’s Department door. Drop box services are available at this location.
